Configure contests in the Scoring stage
ClubForge supports tournament contests such as Closest to the Pin, Long Drive, and Long Putt. Open the Tournament Contests section of the Scoring stage to add, remove, or edit contests for the event.
Save contest setup changes before locking the scoring configuration. ClubForge intentionally blocks configuration locking while unsaved contest changes remain.
Record the result
After play, enter the contest winner and the available result information for each contest. ClubForge also supports an explicit No winner outcome when no valid result exists.
If official scoring is finalized while a contest is still unresolved, ClubForge warns you and can record the unresolved contest as No winner rather than leaving an ambiguous result.
Prize-pool-funded versus externally funded contests
A contest may be funded from the tournament prize pool or funded externally. Externally funded contests are reported with their prize amount but consume $0 from the tournament prize pool. Prize-pool-funded contests participate in the payout configuration when Prize Pool Administration is enabled.
How contest funding interacts with the pool
When tournament contests use prize-pool funding, the payout configuration can reserve a contest percentage. Individual contests can use an equal share of the available contest pool or a fixed-dollar award. Any reserved contest-pool balance that is not actually awarded returns to the tournament's regular format payouts according to the configured rules.
