Create the starter site
The first time Website Management is opened for a new organization, ClubForge offers a starter-site setup. Choose either the Welcoming or Classic presentation style and preview either choice before creating the site.
Both choices create the same basic website structure: Home, Calendar, About, Membership, and Contact. The starting style changes the presentation and recommended starter wording; it does not lock the organization into permanent content.
Welcoming versus Classic
- Welcoming uses a more spacious, community-oriented presentation and starter copy intended to greet prospective and newer members.
- Classic uses a more compact, information-forward presentation and starter copy suited to an established member-focused club site.
You can switch presentation styles later without rebuilding the pages or replacing text you have edited.
Personalize before publishing
The starter pages are created as editable website content. ClubForge's setup guidance recommends adding the club identity first, then reviewing the homepage and core pages before making the site available to visitors.
- Add your branding. Open Site Header and select the logo, header image, and header presentation.
- Review the homepage. Replace generic starter wording with language that accurately represents your club.
- Review About, Membership, and Contact. Edit each page so visitors receive current organization-specific information.
- Preview and publish. Inspect drafts before publishing them to the public site.
