Open Golf Courses
Use Administration → Golf Courses to maintain the courses and tee configurations available to tournaments. You can add a course from the ClubForge catalog or create one manually.
Add from the catalog when a matching course is available
Select Add from Catalog to browse courses available in ClubForge. Adding a catalog course copies its course, tee-set, and hole information into your organization so it can be administered locally. If ClubForge later detects an updated catalog version, the Golf Courses list can show Catalog update available and provide a review workflow rather than silently overwriting your local data.
Create a course manually when needed
Select New Course, enter the course information, and choose the physical hole count. After the course is created, open it to add one or more tee sets.
Configure at least one complete active tee set
A tee set contains its identifying information and the rating/slope and hole-by-hole data used by tournament processing. Complete the required par, yardage, and handicap-ranking information for the holes and keep the tee set active if it should be available for new tournaments.
The Golf Courses list shows how many tee sets are active and how many are completely configured. The Getting Started checklist considers the organization tournament-ready only when it has at least one suitable course with a complete active tee set.
Maintain courses without losing history
If a course or tee set should no longer be offered for new tournaments, archive it instead of trying to remove historical data. Archived courses remain available for administration and historical tournament records but are excluded from new tournament selection.
Creating a course alone is not enough. Finish at least one active tee set before expecting the course to satisfy Getting Started or tournament-selection requirements.
